You could use the cdj550 (DeskJet 550) driver that comes standard with ghostscript. However, for the best print quality you should also install the latest version of the hpinkjet driver (currently 0.97). hpoj-0.7 doesn't support scanning on your model. If you want scanning support right away, then you can try out the development (unstable) code in CVS.
