Thanks, that makes sense. I can now get a scan started by hitting change document and then start. But, I seem to need a stop button. Hitting cancel in either xsane or xscanimage results in a corrupt image file (xsane actually cleans up the tmp file if you hit cancle, I had to copy it out of /tmp). Hitting cancel on the from of the v40 results in xsane or xscanimage waiting forever. Am I missing something? -chris |
