Only one week!?! ;-) It seems that i started reading about CUPS and all at
least 3 weeks ago ;-).

*Printing* in Linux is definitely a non-user-friendly thing, still. But to
be fair, this specific project (hpoj) is new and being under such active
development it isn't surprising that the documentation is incomplete. On the
larger scale, tho, the LPD/CUPS decision is a PITA. Maybe in a little while
there will emerge a rough majority opinion about which standard to base many
distros on. That would be a Good Thing. It *should* be a part of basic setup
and it should be automated better.
