[hpoj-devel] Scanning with HP 1220?

I am thinking of buying a HP 1220.  I understand it is a postscript
printer so setting up printing with linux should be easy.  I have had a
look at the hpoj-devel page and where it talks about the ptal-hp command
line utility.

My question is:  How difficult is it to set up to scan with the HP 1220?
Is the code in the SANE driver yet?  Can you point me to an explantory
doc on setting up scanning with this product?

Should I buy one of these or will it be a headache to try and scan with?
