David: That fixed it. With the -noeul switch added, the 600 prints without any apparent problems. I just printed a text file from the command line as the first print job. Postscript prints too. Pages in netscape print. BTW, I changed sys/io.h back and forth to see what the configure script would do. It apparently handled it correctly. -- Joe |
