Yes, I compiled with gcc-2.95.2 and everything works.

I got similar error messages when I tried ptal-printd the first time, as
I liked to test it, before installing it all. But in this case the
runtime linker used the obsolete libptal-libraries from the prior
installation instead of the new from CVS build.

Or in short word's: make sure you're using the right libptal-libraries.
