Hi Chris,

I have a G85 too. I use the standard printing LPRng without the
ptal-printd, because I cannot change the kernel of the machine I attached
the G85 to. One can print b/w, color printing is not perfect, since I se
the cdj550. I had no time yet to recompile ghostscript.

Standanlone fax and copying is perfect, I have not tried the scanner.
I asume I do need the ieee driver for scanning, so I did not try it.
