Hi, Johan.  0.7 was released recently, but I don't think it will fix any of
the problems you raised:

This is a known problem with the low-level drivers (ieee12844.o).
For now the workaround is to kill xojpanel before printing.

Scanning is not yet supported with the model you have, but it's on my
to-do list.
