Hi again:

I created and saved the file gamma.ps as you indicated
in the e-mail. Also, I entered the extra gs option...
you wrote.

When I sent the file to print, and started to print, I
saw the HP 1150C panel and it said more or less.
"Normal printing". (I said: YES!)

However, the printer continued and it printed the
following message in stair-stepping text:

Error: /undefinedfilename in (gs)
                                 Operand stack:
                                              
Execution stack:
                %interp_exit

After this, the printer printed the file I sent, but
it also was too dark. I saw the HP 1150C panel and it
had the "Quality" option.

Any idea about it?
