[hpoj-announce] SANE-1.0.5 has been released (fwd)

Hi,

I'm forwarding the announcement about the release of SANE version 1.0.5.
There isn't really any new functionality with regards to the OfficeJets,
but I did update the "sane-hp" manual page to reflect the new format of
PTAL device names, which is currently used in the hpoj CVS code and will be
used in version 0.8, which I expect to release in the next 4-6 weeks.
This means that in the meantime, the SANE 1.0.5 documentation will be
inconsistent with the way things work in hpoj-0.7.  So where you see
something like "mlc:par:0" in the SANE documentation, you would continue
to use "mlc:mlcpp0" in hpoj-0.7 and earlier.
