Hi all, I've buyed a HP Officejet pro k550DTN and I've configured it using ptal-init setup. psala@psala-lx2:~$ ptal-devid MFG:HP;MDL:Officejet Pro K550;CMD:MLC,PCL,PML,DESKJET,DW-PCL,DYN;CLS:PRINTER;DES:HP Officejet Pro K550;SN:MY617320WM;S:028080A880001000810002000300040005056605f705e805b;Z:031;1284.3M:f7f,f7f;1284.4DL:4d,4e,1; psala@psala-lx2:~$ ptal-print < /dev/null ptal-print: connecting to device "hpjd:192.168.70.91"... successful. psala@psala-lx2:~$ ptal-hp device Model name: HP Officejet Pro K550 Model number: C8158A Serial number: MY617320WM Firmware version: 20051208 SPP0009C Firmware datecode: (unavailable) psala@psala-lx2:~$ ptal-hp clock Device clock: Feb-21-2006 10:04:43 AM The only command (except ptal-hp display that doesn't work because the printer have no display...) that fails is psala@psala-lx2:~$ ptal-connect -service ECHO ptal-connect: connecting to device "hpjd:192.168.70.91"... failed! Furthermore I've installed the printer using cups using the port ptal:/hpjd:192.168.70.91 and the driver hpijs I've found on linuxprinting.org. Well, if I try to print a test page I can find the job in the completed jobs as aborted. Can you please help me found how can I solve the problem? Thank you very much Piviul |
