Scanning should than go via HPLIP, as with a PCL device: Start HPLIP, 
restart CUPS, set up CUPS queue with "hp://..." URI and above-mentioned 
PPD, check that "hpaio" backend is listed in /etc/sane.d/dll.conf, start 
SANE frontend (like "xsane").
