Hello ppl, Fist of all, beeing new to this group, I would like to thank everyone for the wonderfull service provided. So, to the problem: I have a HP OfficeJet d135 (fully supported) installed on Redhat 9 running kernel 2.4.20. I followed all the installation steps faithfully, and it all seemd to work just fine untill I tried to actually scan something. What happens is that i get a I/O error in the middle of the scan of the last page in a batch (or, if there is only one page beeng scanned i get the error in the middle of that page). After this error, the scanner "dies" as in that linux no longer recognizes it, I have to power-off then power-on the scanner for it to be recognozed again...any ideas on how to solve this issue? p.s: Im using duplex (both sides) scanning mode...so it looks like this: 'scanimage --duplex=3Dyes --batch --batch-mode=3Dyes' using XSANE anso yields a I/O error msg in the last page (halfway though it) Also, I would like to be able to place all scanned images into a single image file (or, better yet, a pdf file) and not have it generate a independent image file for each scan. Thanks 4 any help ;)=0A =0A______________________________________________= ____________________________=0AAcabe com aquelas janelinhas que pulam na = sua tela.=0AAntiPop-up UOL - =C9 gr=E1tis!=0Ahttp://antipopup.uol.com.br/= =0A |
