I have followed all the installation instructions on http://hpoj.sourceforge.net/hpoj-cvs/doc/setup-connect.html.. ptal passes all the recommended tests for the printer with the ptal 0.91 driver. CUPS just refuses to use the printer even when it is setup by PrinterDrake. Ghostscript runs, but appears to be unable to send it's data anywhere, it deadlocks. <sigh> I've always hated the unix printing system... Regards, TomW >Run any other system updates...
