[hpoj-devel] slow printing HP

I am currently running 2.6.3 kernel (Mandrake Linux 10.0,) cups version
1.1.20-5mdk and hpoj 0.91-4mdk driving a HP v40 OfficeJet multifunction
printer.  These have become very, very slow to print.  A typical page
can take more than five minutes.  Resetting and printing a test page
improves performance briefly.  The next day it is slow again.  Anyone
else having this problem?
