[hpoj-devel] OfficeJet 710 and MdkLinux 10.0

After a crash disk I have decided to reinstall and upgrade from Mandrake
9.2 to Mandrake 10.0.
My OJ710 was working perfectly (printing and scanning) under 9.2 but...
under 10.0 nothing goes right!

ptal-init setup finds the OfficetJet on parport but failed to
communicate with it. 

ptal-init setup cannot find the OfficeJet if I don't cycle poweroff
poweron after each try.

I don't put all the logs in this message, but if someone as a clue I
would send him directly the logs and after I succeed (hope...) I will
resend a message with the problem and the solution so that everyone
would be able to read what happened and how to proceed.
