Subject: [hpoj-devel] "Solarized" shadows with DeskJet 890C =20 I recently got a DeskJet890C out of mothballs, put in fresh cartridges, and began printing photos via Fedora Core 1 / hpijs. I am finding that the shadows look "solarized." Example images (highly compressed jpeg's) are located at -- Originals: http://www.danlj.org/~danlj/photos/Printer/Bertha0026.jpg and http://www.danlj.org/~danlj/photos/Printer/Bertha0024.jpg and the prints of these images at, printed on HP Premium Photo Paper, http://www.danlj.org/~danlj/photos/Printer/BerthaPrint.jpg Does anyone have any suggestions on what might cause this, or an efficient way to troubleshoot?
