Which application/how are you printing these photos? Also, did you do an =
alignment prior to printing?

I recently got a DeskJet890C out of mothballs, put in fresh
cartridges, and began printing photos via Fedora Core 1 / hpijs.

I am finding that the shadows look "solarized."
