[hpoj-devel] "Solarized" shadows with DeskJet 890C

I recently got a DeskJet890C out of mothballs, put in fresh
cartridges, and began printing photos via Fedora Core 1 / hpijs.

I am finding that the shadows look "solarized."

Does anyone have any suggestions on what might cause this, or an
