I have had much trouble with using faxes on Linux.
I finally had some good results with efax + xsane + kfax
xsane seems to be the only scanning interface which can easily scan + send =
fax=20
(even multipages faxes). Kooka is completely broken for this purpose and=20
xscanimage has no fax capabilities. OpenOffice.org does not work for scanni=
ng=20
in writer at this moment. Hope it will be fixed some day !
efax is much more simple than hylafax, which asks you numerous silly questi=
ons=20
for configuring.

I'd like kooka could be improved some day, but no sign of activity now.
