[hpoj-devel] Question to scan button on PSC2210

Hallo,
can anyone help me or give infos to following problem.

I have a HP PSC 2210 on Linux system an it works fine!
Now I want to using the scan button on this device to scan and store
documents automat. 
Can you give me infos or ideas to the type of process witch using the
printer?

I hope I can using a problemsolution like this:

if I put the button I become a interupt in the Linux System (where?) and I
can run a Skript, wich save the from usb port incomming datas in my
targefolder.
