I am having trouble getting my HP PSC 1350 setup on SUSE Linux 9.1. I am=20
running the hpoj-0.91. It seems like it sets up the printer ok, it just=20
doesn't talk to it during printing.

Then I start cups, and then try to setup the printer with KDE's printer=20
wizard.
I did a tail -f /var/log/cups/error_log immediately after I started cups to=
=20
catch the information from trying to setup the printer. And I attached it a=
s=20
a gzipped text file on here.
I would really appreciate some help. Please cc any response to this because=
I=20
do not know if I am signed up correctly.

I am not sure exactly what the problem is, but I really need to be able to print. I was looking through the error_log as I am trying to print and I noticed a couple lines that I thought looked curious. Ok, this is kind of wierd maybe, but just for giggles I setup the printer using the PSC 1205 hpijs driver instead of the PSC 1300 driver. And now it works. I can access the card reader just fine, but I could do that before. I have not tried scanning yet either. So I guess unless this setup starts not working for some reason I'm just going to use the wrong driver. Just as an FYI, the hpijs driver supports 300+ devices, including yours. Picking the 1205 should not have an adverse effect other than maybe margins or something similar.
