I am trying to get a copy of the PML Objects Specification.
I have got the PML Protocol Spec from the HP site, but it doesn't give
the oids for different functions/commands.
I realise that most printers only use a subset of the oids, but I would
like a list so I can check out my printers.
Ultimately I want to extend the pml-hp command to be able to get more
info from the printer, such as inkjet cartridge levels, color
saturations etc and also to be able to issue various commands such as
align cartridge, clean heads, change ink saturation etc.
I have the source of XOJpanel and pml-hp. I think xojpanel is too
complecated using QT and having all the commands enbedded. If the pml-hp
command could be extended there should bee no reason not to use it to
handle the communication to the printer and QT or even HTML to display
the data / accept input.
