Hi Can anyone help me?
I'm relatively new to linux, I've installed Linux Mint 18.1 on a desktop machine.
I've got two HP printers: LaserJet Pro MFP M477 fdn and OfficeJet Pro 7740
After lots of struggling I managed to find a driver for the M477 fdn.
But for the Pro 7740 I can't find one that recognises the second tray, which is pretty rubbish since I want to swap between A4 and A3 paper. And it won't report the ink volume.
It seems to be an ongoing problem to find the driver that has all of the options for either of these printers.
I've just tried to set up a second Linux based desktop machine and I'm struggling with drivers for both printers!
Can anyone show me where to find the drivers in a format that I can simply upload them so the printers do what they are supposed to do?
