Hola Lluis, I think you'd better re-install the sane-backend-1.0.12 without installing = the=20 beta version. It looks like the beta version is not loaded (unable to find= =20 _sane_hp5400_init) The beta version does not offer at the moment more functionality than the s= ane=20 package. Bye, Thomas.
