[Hp5400backend-devel] Can't scan in Lineart mode

My HP5400c is up and running.  Thanks for working on this!  

Just a small question.  I wanted to try to do a little OCR work with my 
scanner. For this purpose, I thought it would be good to scan in Lineart 
mode.  Am I right in thinking that this mode is not yet available?  Or is 
there something I've missed?
