I really like the editor of HotShots, but I prefer xfce4-screenshooter for capturing screenshots. I'd like to use xfce4-screenshooter to launch HotShots editor and modify my screenshots.
This command line parameter should imply '--no-singleinstance' and HotShots should exit once the edit window was closed.
