I have shared IP and when I define multiple websites
with shared IP I get (IP address replaced with "IP":

[Tue Jun 07 09:30:18 2005] [warn] VirtualHost IP:80
overlaps with VirtualHost IP:80, the first has
precedence, perhaps you need a NameVirtualHost directive

for which I had to add to /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
following line:

NameVirtualHost IP:80

Maybe that can be added automatically upon configuration?

It is beyond the scope of GNUHH to handle namevirtualhost
configurations. The "shared" ips are given to the
administration when a server is added or edited and GNUHH
presumes that the web server was already configured for the
shared IP address. GNUHH only does site related
configuration not general server configuration leaving that
to the administrators to configure as they deem fit for
their application. Unlike other control panels GNUHH
doesn't supply or do general configurations for any
application on the server to allow freedom of custom
configuration to the administrators of the servers.
