#25 Error handling
We're having some real problems with hop's inability
to handle cvs errors. There seems to be a glitch
going around, perhaps related to recent server moves,
where people are suddenly logged out of cvs. I had it
happen to me in the midst of applying changes. Hop
seems to fall apart in those cases. It marks the
changes as applied, even though none of the files have
been checked out. If the person has done a hop
ketchup or hop apply all, it gets messy trying to
determine which changes were marked as applied but not
really applied, and then trying to fix it.
Similarly if you "hop close", it closes the change
even though every check-in fails with a "cvs login"
error.
