New
Creates a new picture. A requester for the sizes will be opened. Note that you can't create a picture whose size is larger than that of the screen.
Open
Shows a file selector where you can choose a file. Same size limitation as for the "New" option.
Save
Saves canvas in PNG format.
Save As
Same as "Save" except that you will be asked for a filename.
Export
Exports canvas in different file formats.
Quit
Quits HollyPaint.

Open
Opens a brush from disk.
Save
Saves a brush to disk.
To Clipboard
Saves the brush in clipboard
From Clipboard
Tries to create a brush from clipboard's content.
Copy Canvas
Creates a brush from the whole canvas.
Put At
Opens a requester which asks for a position. The brush will be drawn once at that position.
Revert
Reverts a brush to the state which it had after loading or getting.
Kill
Removes brush from memory. Tools which can use brushes (dots and spray) fall back to dot mode.
Scale
Opens a requester where you can enter the new sizes.
Flip
Flips a brush horizontally or vertically.
Rotate
Rotates a brush. You can either use one of the default angles or choose the angle freely.
Use Filter
Applies current filter settings to the brush.
BG Transparent
Adds a mask to a brush where all pixels in the current background color become transparent.
Trim
Removes bordering blank spaces (i.e. mask or alpha pixels) from the brush.
Remove Mask
Removes the mask from the brush.
Remove Alpha
Removes the alpha channel from the brush.
Invert
- Brush
  Replaces all colors by their complements.
- Mask
  Transparent pixels become opaque and vice versa.
- Alpha
  Inverts alpha, e.g. 80% becomes 20%.
Replace
- BG by Pen
  Replaces all pixels in background color by pen color.
- Pen by BG
  Replaces all pixels in pen color by background color
Information
Shows some information of the brush.
