It's certainly not dead, but it's not particularly active at the  
moment (as you can see).  I've received all your previous messages and  
will be looking to integrate them into the main trunk when I've got  
time: I've got a full-time job these days and have a number of other  
projects that I hack on, so HOC hasn't got much love & care at all in  
the past year.  Sorry, that's the best I can do at the moment.

Daniel, if you've got a Google Code account, drop me a private email  
with your account name and I'll add you to the committer list so you  
can send back patches without needing to go through the bureaucracy :).
