Greetings again,

I'm going through the sources, trying to understand how they work, and  
commenting what I find.  (I'd love to be able to checkin the comments  
when I'm done).

Can someone explain what the constructors Allocated, Covariant,  
CovariantInstance, Inited, and Released mean?  I'm managed to figure  
out most of it, though I don't understand what the "Covariant" ones  
mean.  Specifically, I'm trying to understand "doctorCovariant" in  
DeclareSelector.hs.

Actually, an overview of how the memory management works in the  
bindings would be great.
