[hmmsdk-devel] Hmmlib questions

Hi,

I am trying to use the hmmlib packages from hmms.sourceforge.net.  It 
looks like development has basically stopped on this project, but I am 
hoping that someone still monitors this list.

I was wondering if you have any samples of code using the packages ?  If 
so, would it be possible to take a look at them ?

[hmmsdk-devel] FASD project: Online survey launched

Dear Open Source developer

I am doing a research project on "Fun and Software Development" in which I kindly invite you to participate.
You will find the online survey under http://fasd.ethz.ch/qsf/. The questionnaire consists of 53 questions and you will need about 15 minutes to complete it.

With the FASD project (Fun and Software Development) we want to define the motivational significance of fun when software developers decide to engage in Open Source projects. What is special about our research project is that a similar survey is planned with software developers in commercial firms. This procedure allows the immediate comparison between the involved individuals and the conditions of production of these two development models. Thus we hope to obtain substantial new insights to the phenomenon of Open Source Development.

I don't know if you have had a chance to set up your CVS/dev. environment yet,
but if you are having any problems please let me know.


I just made a simple change to build files so that the build batch scripts are
no longer needed. (Of course, you'll need to set "ANT_HOME" env. variable on
your system.) Please let me know if you have any questions.

PS: BTW, let's use this forum or -dev email list for all communications. I think
it's very important to "keep records" of whatever we do related to this project.

A new document, "HmmSDK Development: Getting Started", has been uploaded to
the Docs section. The document briefly describes how to join the project and
how to set up the development environment.
