[HAPI-devel] Dropping Log4J Dependency

Hi,

Is it possible to drop the dependency on Log4J and use some other 
logging mechanism such as the JDK 1.4 logging system? The version of 
Log4J used by HAPI 0.5 is incompatible with an another application we're 
using and it's not possible to remove that application's dependency.
