Hi Kevin, Yes, it's definitely a bug, but it has been fixed (coincidentally, Joe Rosario from your company was the first to report this bug). It's working properly in the version 0.4 beta -- can you switch to that? If not, the other option is to get the changes in the ca.uhn.hl7v2.parser package from 11/2002.
