Noticed two minor problems in the current CVS tree.   The build requires 
the jakarta commons-logging library
and the build then fails do to a missing build/gen directory.   Creating a 
build/gen directory then allows
the compilation to complete without error.  You may be aware of both of 
these, but I thought I would let
you know.
