[HAPI-devel] Required segments and fields validation not working for EVN

Hi everyone,

I was using the latest HAPI HL7V2 Parser and it doesn’t seem to throw any errors if I don’t add EVN or leave EVN.2 empty for example in an ADT_A01 message. 

Is this expected behaviour or a bug?

This is confusing, so can anyone give me an idea of what kind of rules for required fields/segments etc is enforced by HAPI HL7?
