Hello all, I don't have my CentOS test environment ready yet because the power source of one of my boxes died yesterday. I expect to get a replacement by Thursday and I should be up and running then. Tonight I commited to svn a version with working support for sudo. Sudo is not a requisite, if it's not found, the code falls back to the original behavior (this needs to be tested and is the reason why I don't have a release yet), but if it's available on the host, the mysqlha user and group are created (the group is created automatically in red hat and perhaps in other distros, I do this just in case). This mysqlha user is then grante permission through sudo to run, without being prompted for a password, all the privileged commands we need for the cluster to work. This, along with the support for the ssh-agent and passphrase protected private keys introduced in the last release, are great improvements on the security of the system. I'll be back with more news tomorrow or on Thursday. Checkout from svn if you want to be up to date with the code. Both the installation guide and the hacking guide will be updated for the next release, since they'd be obsolete with all these changes.
