The HIEOS development team would like to announce the availability of HIEOS Release 1.2. The following updates are included in this release:
* Incorporated all relevant IHE Change Proposals (and validated compliance at the 2010 IHE North American Connectathon).
* Implemented IHE Multi-Patient Query (MPQ).
* Implemented IHE Cross Enterprise User Assertion (XUA) - acting as an "X-Service Provider" actor.
* Implemented asynchronous web service support according to IHE specifications.
* Implemented support for IHE ITI-8 Patient Identity Feed HL7 v2.x transaction.
* Refined XML configuration files to allow more fine-grained configuration settings.
* Incorporated several registry database optimizations.
* Added support for Oracle RDBMS.
* Fixed several minor bugs in "logbrowser" web application.
