hIDE Alpha Version Source Released

hIDE is now at a stable stage of development (well, stable by my standards) so the current source has now been released. Of course this is only an alpha test version and lacks alot of features, proper documentation, etc., but once built it should give you a good idea of
the direction this IDE is going.

hIDE Developing hIDE

Well, almost. hIDE is now functional enough to be the editor used for it's own development. It now has an MDI architecture which allows multiple files to be edited. Currently being added is the integration of the C\C++ and Java build tools with hIDE. Once they've been integrated, hIDE really will be developing hIDE =)

By no means is hIDE close to a release of any kind, but the project is moving along at a faster pace than anticipated. Expect a hIDE "Help Wanted" task to appear shortly for a Windows\Linux C++ Developer\Tester (for Win32 tweaks\testing) with solid Qt and portable development experience. There will also be Windows\Linux Tester roles to fill much later into hIDE's development.

hIDE's Re-birth =)

After a short hiatus, the development of hIDE has now started again. Alot has changed from the original and it is being re-developed from the ground up using Qt on the Linux platform (originally it used MFC under Win32 which severely limited portability). It is being developed with portability in mind and will be ported to Win32 once a stable Linux version is released.
