This project is related to collaborative working on support for the V2B hub in OpenWRT, inspired by the fact that on the V2B U-boot is used as the bootloader, for which most of the relevant source was available.
The starting point for this was modifying the U-boot to add netconsole access so that users could work on the hub without adding a serial connection. The u-boot work expanded to adding lzma kernel decompression to support modern OpenWRT techniques. The current u-boot has some netconsole display issues, but is otherwise fully functional.
Once u-boot was in place and network accessible, a basic OpenWRT Infineon Danube based kernel was built from the OpenWRT trunk, and we have started to resolve issues. The first issue to resolve was network so that OpenWRT development could proceed, again without serial access. With this now in place, and USB working, all the basic aspects are there to run and develop OpenWRT.
