HF-Sounder has now been tested on a VM running Unbuntu 16, and on a Raspberry Pi Zero running Raspbian Stretch. As with Windows, you can use either the all-in-one or the conventional JAR file (i.e. separate LIB folder). Obviously, you need to install the Java Runtime Environment for your platform, and change the JAR file permissions to make it executable. The only issue I observed was on the Raspi, where the Settings window did not stay hidden when I clicked Start on the main window. The workaround...
Version 1.3 of HF Sounder has been tested extensively enough by the developer that it can now be categorized as Beta stage. That means it seems to work most of the time. But bugs are likely to be hiding in there somewhere. So this discussion page has been established for bug reporting and help requests.
