Instead of going to where TMP or TEMP point (C:\Windows\TEMP), it always goes to C:\
I recently networked my W7 laptop to my XP desktop and now a PUT on the laptop gets an errror 08: Protected file.
I'm told that with pc's networked, W7 strictly enforces the rule of Administrator Rights Required to write directly to the C disk. In my case, that means *manually* launching THE with Run As Administrator.
Temporary files in THE will now be created in the location pointed to by the TMP environment variable.
For me, that's C:\Windows\TEMP
and I don't see the file that I PUT, but it's not on C:\ either!
But at least I can now PUT & GET and I can try some macros someone sent
me way back when!
