Example:
RINGLIST does a THE ZZZZZZZZ.ZZZ to be able to expand tabs and
sort. PROFILE.THE executes the macro NEWFILE which executes the
macro CHECKFILE that will warn me if I edit a file on an abnormal
disk or in an abnormal folder. It issues its warning EMSG
because THE puts the file in the THE folder, which I don't
usually want to touch. The warning is not suppressed, despite being
invoked indirectly by NOMSG.

    Simulate my NEWFILE/OLDFILE macros.

Here's the third, and final, file. Here's how to replicate what I see. Instructions are also in the files:

Purpose: Demonstrate non-suppression of EMSG from profile

    Syntax: Add the statement:
    'MACRO ANYFILE' time('L')
at the bottom of the profile

Expect the message to appear for every file that is edited.
Run the macro TEST_CHECKFILE_DEMO and this msg should NOT appear
    because TEST_CHECKFILE_DEMO issues the command:
    'nomsg the zzzzzzzz.zzz'
to simulate what my RINGLIST macro does.

Aside: I think I just figured out the human factors of submitting more than one file! I had left the cursor in the File Description box when I pressed ENTER. That's equivalent to clicking on Submit. Sorry for the multiple followups! I'll get this down and do better next time.

    File Added: test_checkfile_demo.the
