I compiled cinelerra 1.1.9 and 1.2.1 on my pentium3/gcc
3.2, kernel 2.4.20 SuSE 8.0 system. Both versions crash
on segmentation fault when I render into AVI/DV/16bit
sound file and the output gets bigger than 1GB. If the
same clip is rendered in, say, MPEG4 format and output
smaller, everything works. Rendering of a smaller clip
in the former format works too. My filesystem holds
files >4GB without problem and I can load them into
I am willing to help find the bug by generating core and
looking at it with gdb, but cinelerra has some signal
handler which makes it impossible (core is not
generated). It seems also to be multithreaded and I
do not know to what process to possibly attach gdb at
runtime. Can you advise me hwo to proceed?
