I'm unable to send/receive email after recent Microsoft update to
Godaddy's outlook.office365.com servers 2 days ago.
Neither POP or IMAP settings are working with With Eudora 7 with Hermes SLL installed.
The latest settings for outlook.office365.com I can find are.
Incoming: IMAP4 Server Hostname: outlook.office365.com Port: 993 TLS Authentication: Oauth2
Incoming: POP3 Server Hostname: outlook.office365.com Port: 995 TLS Authentication: Oauth2
Outgoing: SMTP Server Hostname: smtp.office365.com Port: 587 STARTTLS Authentication: Oauth2
Any suggestions?
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
Both solutions seem best deployed and configured using Azure,
at least to get the Client_ID and Client_Secret via Microsoft.
Both take a few hours to install, with email-oauth2-proxy
being the more complicated solutions to install.
I don't have the time to debug either of these solutions,
which at least per my experience today will take perhaps
4-8 hours to setup.
As Godaddy's Office365 Outlook server have some undocumented
things going on. In order to logon to the webapp you go via
Godaddy's portal. If one attempts to login directly to
Office365 Outlook the same password does not work.
Given what seems to me to be immature release of the Auth2
on Office365 Outlook's server, or at least the immature
availability of any robust solution for Thunderbird and/or
Eudora. I'm in the market for an email server that does not
require Auth2 to move our email domain to.

Hi All,
I've attempted install and and quick test of email-oauth2-proxy.
Also have tried o2Popper.exe https://github.com/murataya/o2popper
