Have you noticed that Eudora's Address Book refers to itself (internally) as a database? It is stored in the file Nndbase.txt (for "NickName DataBASE"). I have no idea what, if anything, actually qualifies it as a database.

The only problem is that this cuts compatibility with POSIX. The Eudora
mbox format is the same as that used by UNIX mail, and I'm sure most users
would prefer that didn't change.
