I'm curious about how close we are to the goal. I know the new version of EUDORA.EXE is all up in the air right now, but what about the DLL's? Do they compile?
I'm wondering specifically about spellcheck. Have we successfully integrated Hunspell? Will it be a drop-in replacement for Eudora 7?

The spellchecking won't just "snap into" the code. It has to do with how
it's implemented. If it was just a matter of replacing SPELL32.DLL I would
be finished by now.

I have successfully built the Paige DLL, the IMAP DLL, the QCUtils DLL and, of course, the QCSSL DLL. I have not tried to build any others but will try some next if you like.

Please do. I'd like all the DLL's finished and compilable so that when we
release, we won't have to wait for that. Plus we can tell the Eudora List
people that we've got a product "almost ready except for the GUI".

Also, aside from all the DLL's, I'd like some way of importing Tbird and
Outlook mailboxes into UNIX Mbox format (which is what Eudora uses and
HERMES Mail will use).

I reported earlier that I had a clean build of QCUtils.dll. Only later I learned that a clean build does not necessarily mean a compatible build. I have had to make several fixes to QCUtils to enable it to take the place of the original and there is at least one more problem that I have not yet managed to fix. This last issue involves MFC and I am hoping Soren will be able to help me understand and fix it.

I can offer executable code (only) to convert Outlook and Exchange email for use with Eudora/Hermes.
That'll do.
