I think I'm going to go ahead and transfer the repository over to BitBucket, which is much more advanced and user-friendly (this way we won't have to explain Hg to new devs, etc).
Consider this an experiment; don't commit code to one or the other site until further notice. Please don't hesitate to comment as usual, especially if you have objections to the proposed move.

Should I try to upload what I have in it's own repository on this bitbucket

I'll only do it once I get a little further down the road. I mean nearing
the 1. where rhe GUI will start to look like a real application, albeit
missing a lot of functionality and containing a p...load of //TODO:s.
After all I've shown you almost litterally nothing except a lot of talk.....

Pißbucket? Actually, "the bit bucket" is what IBM and old timey DEC programmers call /dev/null :D it's also the physical box where the holes from a card punch go.

Yes. The double (triple?) entendre wasn't wasted upon me. In fact my first
thought when you mentioned bitbucket was /dev/null but I dismissed the
though as obviosuly meaningless.

All humour aside, Mr Thygesen, for the love of Freyja I hope you are Hg committing your changes at the end of every changeset. I don't mean uploading your code to the central repo (alThough the migration is nearly done). I mean running an Hg addremove ; Hg commit so that your changes are properly tracked locally on your computer. I seriously hope you've had this new repository of yours set up from day one as an Hg tracker, with a .Hg subdirectory.
I know the code isn't ready for prime time, or even my own private viewing, that's why I'm not asking to see it. But I am seriously concerned with maintaining a paper trail, and changes to the code form part of that paper trail.
Besides that, how is the code organised on your computer? Do you have the latest Hg pull from SourceForge, and then a copy of that pull where you're making changes? Or do you have the latest pull and a working directory that contains nothing but the UI? I need this info for organisational purposes; sooner or later we'll have to merge your UI/MFC code into the Hermes repo (I foresee an addremove of EPIC length) and I need to start planning for it.

Yes, I will set one up for you right now. What does it contain? Just the UI code? Or a shovel ready HERMES project?

Oh, it's not me you should consider, it's the people on Reddit who I've tried to convince to help out... they've done nothing but mock me for financial mismanagement (!) even though the investors are happy, and call me a fraudster!
If I had so much as a Hello World to show them I'd perhaps be able to attract people!
By the way, what is your BitBucket name? Mr MacLean, feel free to chime in here as well
If all goes fine we might transfer discussion over there

All right, we're fully migrated over to BitBucket. Both platforms, plus documentation in one project (separate repositories), and my Gnutella client in Java (which I stole from Limewire when they went under) in another project.
Please create a free BitBucket account with all alacrity and get back to me once you have done so.
Thank you in advance.
