Eudora stopped working today. I restored my PC to a version a few days in which Eudora worked, and it made no difference. There seems to be a problem with the main certificate.

and then the POP server (Tigre99@verizon.net@pop.verizon.net) said:
ERR [SYS/TEMP] Server error - Please try again later.</shhhh!>
I am using verizon mail on aol.com. AOL webmail works fine.

I figured out the problem. AOL is now requiring all pop3 (and probably imap) accounts to use an app password instead of the regular password to access mail. You can set up the app password at http://password.aol.com .

What do you mean by "stopped working?" Does the program not run at all?

The problem is with aol/verizon. It is rejecting all pop3 mail
