Tell me again why we're using HUNSPELL and not, for instance, ASPELL?
https://lyx-devel.lyx.narkive.com/tka1u3VX/hunspell-vs-aspell
HUNSPELL supports 2 languages, Hungarian and English. Still not sure if
it's British or American English. ASPELL, well:
ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/aspell/dict/0index.html
There must've been some reason. Mind you, I'm mostly thinking out loud here
though comments are welcome..
Regards.

Don't know why ftp:// links won't work here. My point is that aspell
supports a whole bunch of languages. 30-50 easily.

I'd actually prefer if we used Nuspell, which can be found here:
https://github.com/nuspell/nuspell
That said, if nuspell won't build, we can use hunspell because it's very
similar and can be replaced by Nuspell when it DOES build.
Hunspell actually supports many more languages than Hungarian and English.
They're available here: https://github.com/wooorm/dictionaries
As for GNU aspell, I have political reasons for not using it, primarily in
regards to licencing, but it's also technically behind Hunspell.

OK. Point taken, on the face of it, it just looked superior.
